Hi there, Hanno here.
If you don't know me yet, please read on! *But a coffee is always better, so that's on me!

Who is Hanno?

Hanno is a random guy, born and raised in a small village in The Netherlands. After that he did some studies to find out what it was he actually wanted to do, turned out he didn't like studies at all. So he began to work with his hands. There he found his heart and renewed courage to dream big again. What those dreams will be? No one knows exactly, but that doesn't matter. Like the verse in Matthew 6:34 says: "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself."

What does he do?

I will talk in the first person again. I'm Hanno (like I said a few times), born in 1993 so you can do the calculations. Currently living in Amsterdam, I'm raised (well) by my loving parents, together with a bunch of -the most awesome- brothers and sisters. After high school I did some studies (communication and teaching) but that didn't work out the way I had planned. So I went on, worked for a year and decided to do what I love to do. So on September 2016, I began with the study: 'furniture maker//interior builder' on the HMC (wood and furniture college) in Amsterdam. I do that with a lot of pleasure! The atmosphere there is amazing, everyone is able to seek their own creativity. We have a lot of freedom in our assignments and internships. I did mine in Utrecht last year, the most educating internship I've ever had! Two great internships followed and right now I'm planning to go to CuraƧao in November this year! I hope to get the chance to go to New Zealand next year, we'll see! Meanwhile I'll try to keep this website up-to-date, with all the projects I worked on and will be working on and maybe I'll write something now and then. So keep in touch!

But most importantly: feel free to contact me! I'm open to help you with everything that lies in my possibilities! I want to learn as much as possible, so hit me up with an awesome project!

What I can (read: like)

First of all, I'm an enthusiast, I'm quickly satisfied so with some good lunch and coffee I can work all day!
But most of the things I learned had to do something with wood. So I know how to work with a bunch of machines, and know about wood as a product. What it does and how it works, like literally how it works. I made some lamps and did a little bit of work with electricity, but I'm still an amature in that area. And hopefully I'll learn how to weld and make things out of steel in my next internship, the place looked promising so I'll keep you posted. I also like to work outside, both my parents have green fingers. (That's a saying. So not literally, would be funny though.) Furthermore I like the presentation of things, that has to be right.
